A Mysterious Light is a quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Kenny Rohan found in various places of Colony 9, sitting on a bench at in the Tranquil Square in the Residential District from 9:00 to 15:00, or standing in front of a tree near the Gem Man's Stall from 0:00 to 6:00. If Shulk is in the active party, he will comment.

Objectives

• "Collect information from Colony residents."
  • At this point, there are two different routes, but only one can be chosen.

A Route

1. "Talk to Arnaut."
2. "Talk to Narine."
3. "Talk to Arnaut again."
4. "Report to Kenny Rohan."

B Route

1. "Talk to Suzanna."
2. "Talk to Francoise."
3. "Talk to Dionysis."
4. "Report to Kenny Rohan."

Results

A route: "The mysterious light was in fact an ether lamp tangled up in some fallen debris."

B route: "Contrary to all the wild rumours, the mysterious light was really just an ether lamp."

Notes

• Kenny is actually available from 21:00 to 15:00. During the evening (21:00), he can be seen heading to the Commercial District area.
