Cooking Schooled (Japanese: 新しき道, Atarashiki Michi, A Fresh Way) is a Normal Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It can be received from Sherry in the Administrative District of New Los Angeles. The Basic Mission Search Support Request can be used to locate this mission, but it is not required.

Objectives

1. "Head to Barista Court in the commercial district and look for Ni Zain."
2. "Purchase a Chrome Sword from the shop."
3. "Head to Barista Court in the commercial district and give the Chrome Sword to Ni Zain."
4. Achieve all objectives
   • "Gather recipes in the residential district."
     • Hint: West of the cathedral.
   • "Gather recipes in the administrative district."
     • Hint: Near Irina.
   • "Gather recipes in either the industrial or commercial district."
     • Hint: At "Sarah's Market", near Yelv; or near the entrance to the Outfitters Test Hangar
5. "Talk to Ni Zain at Barista Court in the commercial district."
6. Achieve all objectives
   • "Gather 10 lacey potatoes in Primordia."
   • "Gather four keppo carrots in Primordia."
   • "Get a marbled suid fillet from silver suid or other in Primordia."
7. "Give the ingredients to Ni Zain at Barista Court in the commercial district."

Results

"The warrior Ni Zain has traded his sword for a kitchen knife. It looks like he won't be returning to the maintenance center any time soon."
