Dilaton Chips are Core Chips in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country. There are only ten Dilaton Chips in the main game that are obtainable per playthrough, from a Treasure Trove in the World Tree. After the version 1.5.0 update, more became available through DLC quests and the Challenge Battle Mode.
They have the highest Block Rate in the game, allowing a Block Rate as high as 95%. (This is achieved by applying a Dilaton Chip on Electra or any Shield Hammer Common Blade with a Level 5 "Solid" skill, along with a Block Rate Up VI Aux Core).
Dilaton Chips share their appearance with Preon Chips and Tachyon Chips (with the exception of for Rare Blades).
