The Dragon King Alcar (Japanese: 竜王アルカトラズ, Ryūō Arukatorazu, lit. Dragon-king Alcatraz) is a boss in Xenoblade Chronicles. It is also quest exclusive to the Path to the Top Story Quest. It is a member of the Dragon family, and can be found in Prison Island when the island is revisited, at the landmark Gondorl Cathedral. It appears immediately after you ring the bell on the Basverg Belfry. It is at level 79 in the Corridor of Silence, and is fought just before the battle with Dickson. This enemy deals Spike Damage. It drops no chests, but does carry a selection of items which can be stolen. The items it carries do not include any materials. It must be defeated to complete the Path to the Top story quest.

There is a material that was cut from the final game called Alcar's Inferno Eye, which may have been intended to be dropped by this enemy.
