The Abyss Basin (Japanese: 奈落の滝つぼ, Naraku no Takitsubo) is a location in Xenoblade Chronicles. It is located in Makna Forest, in the southeast section of the map, just west of Precipice Bridge and south of Windmill Pavilion. It is a bottomless valley with a path spiraling down along its walls. It ends at a Fire Ether Deposit, guarded by a Sabulum Orluga, two Arena Orlugas, a Bois Hode and a Hyle Hode.
