The Dragon King Alcar (Japanese: 竜王アルカトラズ, Ryūō Arukatorazu, lit. Dragon-king Alcatraz) is a Boss in Xenoblade Chronicles. It is also exclusive to the Path to the Top Story Quest. It is a member of the Dragon family, and can be found at level 79 in the Corridor of Silence of Prison Island when the island is revisited, at the landmark Gondorl Cathedral. It appears immediately after activating the Dragon Summon that rings the bell on the Basverg Belfry. It is fought just before the battle with Dickson. This enemy deals Spike Damage. It must be defeated to complete the second objective of Path to the Top, and it will drop the Dragon's Eye that must be fitted into the Altar to complete the story quest.
