Frontier Spirit (Japanese: フロンティア魂, Furontia Tamashii) is a Normal Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It can be received from Corwin at Division Drive in the Administrative District of New Los Angeles.

Objectives

1. "Head to Noctilum's Ensanguined Font."
2. "Talk to Corwin at the BLADE barracks."
   • If "Encourage" is chosen, the mission ends here.

B route, if "Assist" is chosen:

1. "Talk to Bates at Noctilum's Everwhelm Falls."
2. "Defeat five cross Qmoevas to the east of Noctilum's Everwhelm Falls."
3. "Talk to Bates at Noctilum's Everwhelm Falls."
4. "Talk to Corwin at the BLADE barracks in the administrative district."

Results

A route (Encourage) "It seems that Bates has run into a little trouble. But it his team will surely take care of its members' problems."
B route (Assist) "You found the spring and also helped Bates out of a jam--which made quite the impression on Corwin."

Notes

• Choosing A route will exclusively provide a first affinity link between Corwin and TP351: Tempera and a final one between Raleigh and TP351: Tempera in conversation after the mission, while choosing B route will exclusively expand the quest with more objectives and provide a Secondary Boss battle that will be registered in the Enemy Index. TP351: Tempera will be anyway added to the Affinity Chart with her picture, personal info and two affinity links shared between her and Corwin, during Unknown Assailant where she is finally fought.
