Mechon M69 are Mechon enemies in Xenoblade Chronicles. They are sight monsters. They appear at level 5 in the Commercial District, Residential District, and Military District of Colony 9 during the Mechon raid attack, as well as outside the Main Entrance. They respawn but only during this raid attack in Colony 9. There are two story exclusive variants, one appears during the second story event battle at the Central Plaza, another appears at Sword Valley during the prologue event, the Battle of Sword Valley.

Appearance

Mechon M69

Mechon M69

As well as sharing the gold-and-blue plating that they share with other Mechon, M69 are bipedal. They use their large claw-like appendages to attack foes, as well as assist in balancing them. They have a hunched over appearance. Their legs resemble a bird's legs, bent in reverse.

Abilities

Beyond sharing the abilities and weaknesses of other Mechon units, M69 do not generally have any abilities of their own. In fact it is likely that the few attacking Colony 9 were the last of the model, as few are seen for the rest of the game. There is a similar but superior model that they are most likely replaced with.
