Mk. VIII is a Challenge Battle in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It can be received from Nopon Archsage in the Land of Challenge, available as downloadable content from the Challenge Battle Mode Pack of the Expansion Pass. This challenge must be completed in order to unlock Shulk's level 5 Monado Purge Blade Special.

- During Wave 4, the Decacent Sovereign can summon 2 Wall Sovereigns. The Cavalier Sovereign can summon 2 Vanishing Sovereigns during their "Eject Rider" art.
- During Wave 5, True Rosa can summon 3 Minirosa's during her "Ultra Bang-Bang" art. Each Minirosa present on the field blocks one section of the Party Gauge.
