Paola and Narine (Japanese: パネラとネリネ, Paora to Nerine) is a quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Narine in the Tranquil Square in Colony 9, once Tephra Cave is accessible after the Mechon have attacked Colony 9.

Objectives

1. "Raise the affinity between Shulk and Reyn to a good degree and then talk to Narine."   ()
2. "Raise the affinity between Shulk and Reyn considerably more, and then talk to Paola."   ()
3. "Raise the affinity between two female party members considerably and then talk to Paola."   ()
4. "Return to Narine."

Results

"Narine and Paola have become good friends, just like Shulk and Reyn."

Notes

• It can be noted that Narine prefers Shulk, while Paola prefers Reyn.

• The objectives do not require that the characters in question be present in the active party; having the requested affinity links is sufficient.

• Upon completion of this quest, the Affinity Chart will change:
