The Rotating Bulkhead (Japanese: 回転式防壁, Kaiten-shiki Bōheki) is a landmark in Xenoblade Chronicles. It is located on the upper level of the Fallen Arm where the party goes on their way to Mechonis. It is a large machine with green and red lights on it. The party needs a key to move the internal part, which they receive from Linada. This enables the party to proceed to Mechonis. If the path is followed, it leads to a massive road that stretches across the endless sea towards Mechonis' foot. From this point there is a good view of Bionis and Mechonis. This road is destroyed after the events of the Mechonis Core and the death of Mechonis.
