Soaring Tempest is one of Dunban's physical arts in Xenoblade Chronicles. Dunban leaps up and spins, inflicting damage to any nearby enemies. It is his only physical art capable of hitting multiple enemies. Each hit fills 10% of his Talent Gauge.

Miscellaneous Info
- Damage is calculated based on the weapon's attack + Dunban's strength.
- When dealing with at least four enemies and Heat Haze is active, Dunban can effectively fill most of the Party Gauge and his talent gauge in one shot by using Soaring Tempest. This will also give him the chance to trigger a critical burst affinity to fill the Party Gauge further.
- Some high level Unique Monsters are grouped with low level enemies, especially the ones near the end of the game. In conjunction with the above tactic, Dunban can effectively refill the Party Gauge during a Chain Attack by defeating the nearby weaker enemies, thus opening up a second Chain Attack. A demonstration of this tactic can be seen here.
