This Year's Heropon is a Challenge Battle in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It can be received from Nopon Archsage in the Land of Challenge, available as downloadable content from the Challenge Battle Mode Pack of the Expansion Pass. This Challenge consists of battle waves against known Nopon characters, the first four waves of enemies are Nopon from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the next four waves of enemies are guest Nopon characters from Xenoblade Chronicles X, and the final four waves of enemies before the last wave are guest Nopon characters from Xenoblade Chronicles. The final wave consists of a battle against Monopon, who acts as a mascot for Monolith Soft.
