Time Attack Missions are a gameplay mechanic in Xenoblade Chronicles X. They are a set of Missions accessed from the Network Console in the BLADE Barracks. These missions allow players to fight against certain Bosses and attempt to beat their best time.
Although they are accessed via the Network Console, they are not multiplayer missions and can only be attempted as single player missions. They all have a time limit of 15 minutes and a maximum of 4 party members. They also have a limit of 3 retries, allowing an incapacitated player to be revived and continue the mission. The use of Skells is prohibited.
The game records the player's fastest times and the current world record for each Time Attack Mission. The world records are updated each day at midnight. If online functions are disabled, Time Attack Missions will still function but records will not be uploaded.
